Terms of Service

The basis on which we supply our mobile tyre services.

Last updated: 15 October 2026

These terms apply when Prof’s Mobile Tyres and Services (we, us) supplies mobile tyre fitting, repair, replacement, wheel balancing, locking wheel nut removal and fleet tyre checks to you (you, the customer). Using this website does not create a contract on its own. A contract is made when you accept our price for a job. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Our service

We are a mobile service. A technician comes to the location you give us, such as your home, your workplace or the roadside, and carries out the work there. We work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and cover London, Hertfordshire and nearby areas, usually within 50 miles of London.

Quotes and prices

We agree the price with you before we come out. The price we give is based on what you tell us, for example your location, vehicle, tyre size and the work needed. If the situation turns out to be different, we will tell you and agree any change before we carry on. You are never obliged to go ahead after we tell you the price.

Arrival times

We aim to reach you quickly and are usually with customers in 30 to 60 minutes. Arrival times are estimates, not guarantees, and depend on where you are, traffic, the weather and how busy we are.

Payment

You pay when the job is done. We accept all major credit and debit cards.

What we need from you

• Give us accurate details: your exact location, your vehicle registration or tyre size, and any special conditions (for example locking wheel nuts and where the key is).

• Make sure the vehicle is in a place where the work can be done safely, and tell us about any hazards.

• Tell us if the vehicle has been modified or if the tyres are specific to it.

Safety

Safety comes first. A technician may decline or stop work if the location, the traffic, the weather or the condition of the vehicle makes the work unsafe, or if a tyre cannot be repaired safely. Where that happens we will explain why.

Tyres and repairs

We supply premium, mid-range and budget tyres. We will tell you the options and prices that apply to your vehicle. A puncture can be repaired only where it is safe and the tyre is suitable; otherwise we will recommend a replacement.

Our responsibility

We are fully insured, with £5 million of cover. We carry out our work with reasonable skill and care. We are responsible for loss or damage caused by our negligence and for anything the law does not allow us to exclude. We are not responsible for loss that was not a foreseeable result of our failing, or for delay caused by events outside our control.

Your legal rights

If you are a consumer, the law gives you rights, including that services are carried out with reasonable skill and care and that goods are of satisfactory quality, as described and fit for purpose. These terms do not affect those rights. If something is wrong, please tell us as soon as you can so that we can put it right.

Complaints

If you are not happy with our service, please read our complaints procedure.

Personal information

How we use your personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

General

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can deal with any dispute, although if you live elsewhere in the UK you may also bring a claim in your home courts. We may update these terms; the version in force when you accept our price applies to that job. You can contact us by phone or WhatsApp on 07311 391012, through the quote form on our contact page, or by post at 3 Felton Close, Borehamwood, Hertfordshire WD6 4LF.
